Atypical PhD in Science. Drifting between ideals and reality.

I am an Associate Professor at Minnan Normal University, where I work in the School of Computer Science. I was granted the Ph.D. in Astronomical Technology and Methodology by the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. My research interests lie at the intersection of AI, image processing and other disciplines — from recognizing handwritten Chinese characters to extracting signals from telescope imagery. I have published several papers in Astronomy and Computing, Astronomical Techniques and Instruments, and Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence.

谢海闻，博士，闽南师范大学 计算机学院 副教授，毕业于中国科学院大学获理学博士学位。主要研究人工智能、数字图像处理、汉字图像处理、天文图像处理等领域。在《Astronomy and Computing》、《Astronomical Techniques and Instruments》、《模式识别与人工智能》等期刊发表多篇论文。
